I just went on an "art approving spree," but some things had expired because it had been so long. I apologize! Auto-Approval and Submissions from All!
When I first started this group (at an early stage of Groups as a whole), I was really excited about getting tons of activity on a favorite topic of mine, but I could also see ways that it could be exploited.
Say I made a digital art piece, and during submission, it asked me if I wanted to submit to any groups. As many of you know, it's as easy as checking a box, and you can check as many as the groups you're in! To get tons o' views, why not submit to as many groups as possible? I wanted to avoid that because, well...intrinsically, digital art is not sculpture.
So I locked the doors tight, requiring approval for entry into the group AND me

It is with great pleasure that I announce the two newest members of the feetofclay (https://www.deviantart.com/feetofclay) team, iwantcandy2 (https://www.deviantart.com/iwantcandy2) and TheBugKing (https://www.deviantart.com/thebugking). Both of them submitted interesting and engaging blog entries, and I really think they could breathe some much-needed life into our humble group here.

I can help out...
- I sign on to DA daily, if a computer is available.
- I work in clay almost daily. High fire stoneware
-I explore and study my field of expertise
-I'm a sculpture major in college, but I excel on the wheel. (I started May 2011)
-I use slips, ogobes, various glazes, several clay bodies, section throwing, slab molding, scrifito, etc
-I'm also an art club officer (VP) at my college in a role that carries and shows responsibility.
-Sculpture in clay I've built waist line up full life figures all the way to miniatures for shows. If I had the resources I would do full figured statues if not greater than life sized. heh
-On the wheel I throw from 4 feet tall to as small as can be imagined and the widest I've gotten yet is a little over 2ft Diameter.
In other words. If you need skill and knowledge in the position, I have it.
